Clarification on MCOT Plc. performance

Re: To clarify the news relating MCOT Plc.
Dear Madam:
As refer to news report in the newspapers recently claiming that MCOT Plc.
results in January 2008 had lost Baht 27 million if not included concession
fees from BEC World and True Visions.
We, MCOT Plc., would like to clarify that MCOT Plc. has never faced loss in its
performance, but has continually produced growth for over the years. In
particular, the total revenues in second half of 2007 grew 24 percent
compared to the first half of 2007, and the net profit in second half of 2007
grew 35 percent compared to the first half of 2007.
With regards to the result in January 2008, MCOT Plc. replaced all
entertainment programs during the first two weeks of January by special
programs which made additional production cost. In spite of this, MCOT Plc.
has been continually profitable. And for the 2008 performance, we still
forecast 15-20 percent growth in total revenues.
