Ref: MCOT 6101/2451 26 September 2006 The Stock Exchange of Thailand Attn: The President Re: The resignation of the Board of Directors and the President of MCOT Public Company Limited Dear Sir: Regarding to the Resolution of the Board of Directors Meeting No. 16/2006 dated 26 September 2006, at 16.00 p.m. at the Meeting Room, 6th Floor, MCOT Broadcasting Operations Building, 63/1 Rama IX Road, Huay Kwang Sub-District, Huay Kwang District, Bangkok 10310, the Board of Directors approved the resolution that the Board of Directors and the President of MCOT Plc. shall take responsibility to the situation involving the act of Organization by: 1. All members of the Board of Company resign from the position as the Board of Director. 2. Mr. Mingkwan Sangsuwan resigns from the position as the Board of Director and the position as the President of MCOT. The resignation date is effective on 27 September 2006. In this case, according to section 74 of Public Limited Companies Act B.E. 2535, the retired Board of Directors shall remain in office to conduct the business of the Company as necessary until the new Board of Directors takes office. Then, the Company shall call a shareholder meeting to elect a new board of directors within one month of its date of retirement by serving written notice calling a shareholding meeting not less than fourteen days prior to the date of the meeting. In the meantime, Mr. Chitnarong Kunakridatikarn, Executive Vice President, shall be the Acting President until MCOT Plc. has the President.
